Through roles as diverse as CEO, team lead, actor, singer, dancer, writer, photographer, educator, mentor, business developer, marketing strategist, and leadership coach, Bruce has gained valuable tools and lessons to help any team grow exponentially.
His passion for the intersection between optimal health, human performance, and the heart-brain-breath connection found a home when he became a founding director of the acclaimed HeartMath Institute and later CEO of HeartMath for 11 years.
Principles he developed around the connection between coherence, health, performance, and leadership have been taught to executives at the business schools of Stanford, Columbia, University of California Berkeley, and Nanyang Polytechnic University in Singapore.
His dedication to boosting team and organizational culture and performance while CEO at HeartMath, resulted in the company being awarded one of the Best Workplaces in the Bay Area for three consecutive years.
His clients include public and private sector organizations such as Stanford University, NASA, Kaiser Permanente, Mayo Clinic, Johnson & Johnson, The World Bank, Unilever, George Washington University, the NHS, Cathay Pacific Airways, Mandarin Oriental Hotels, and Yosemite National Park.
Bruce is now 14 years cancer-free, and 13 years dancing and hiking on titanium hips.
